Joanna joined the firm in 1966 after working for a time in the UK, and was one of the first female lawyers on the island. Prior to retiring, she had a strong litigation practice, specializing in insurance and personal injury cases. She also represented clients in national arbitration proceedings.

Joanna retired from the partnership in August 2023. With decades of extensive and varied experience under her belt, Joanna has now undertaken the role of consultant, both in terms of training colleagues in the office as well as providing support in complex matters in which she has the relevant background.
