Message from our Founder
I always wanted to be a lawyer. I was fascinated by books about lawyers and trials. I even remember the opening address of Lysias’, a renowned “defense lawyer” in ancient Greece, who opened his address by saying that his client was almost grateful to his accuser because he provided the excuse for giving an account of his own life! This is the famous case “υπέρ του αδυνάτου». So I proceeded and became an English Barrister-at-Law and started practising as an advocate in Nicosia Cyprus at the age of 22. I am now 81 and I am the happy “old man” of our 8 lawyers’ strong qualified lawyers family firm, half of whom are close relatives. We are all English Barristers or lawyers possessing degrees of law schools of Universities in Amsterdam, Cambridge, Thessaloniki, London and Washington D.C. and our practice extends mainly to general commercial and company law, insurance and banking law, trust, and competition intellectual property and data protection as well as human rights, appearing regularly before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg – France. We are now a second generation legal firm hoping to become a third generation one soon – but always a family firm looking closely after the interest of our clients – like a big family.
